First, Mr. Lane fails to acknowledge the part in Church history the appearances of Our Blessed Mother has played in sustaining faith.

Second the group called sedevacantists are now the mystical body and the modernist novus ordo are either non catholic or a sick appendage of the church.

Either way we await Gods will in His time.

Well the (sedevacantist) mystical body seems a bit schizophrenic, with one group declaring one or another of the other groups invalid and denying communion to some. If they had a little more charity toward each other and toward those of us stranded in novus ordo land it might make a better case for the sedevacantists as the mystical body. (Not saying they aren't, but as I've been exploring the sede world, it seems like a mess.)

There is no sedevantist "club". It's simply a logical conclusion a true Catholic comes too. Too many Trads fall into this "labeling" trap. Thanks to social media IMO

I get that. Nevertheless, there are a variety of "conclusions" held by a variety of "organizations" (chapels, oratories, etc. etc.) that seem to disagree, sometimes rather intensely. Doesn't seem to be moving us toward a unified solution to the current crisis....

The Catholic church IS unified.

The masonic/modernist synodal church is deliberately disunified, always ambiguous, always using deception.

Nostra Aetate should be all any Catholic needs to read to clearly unambiguously see that Vatican II was a protestant masonic takeover. It's not rocket science.

I totally agree. So how do we get the buildings back?

Not my pay grade, God's will IMO. I'll keep the faith.

It's only to be expected, human nature being as it is, that not only "when the shepherd is struck, the sheep will be scattered," but that subordinate shepherds (in this case the pre-V2 priests & bishops) will also be scattered. It goes to show how important the papal principle of unity is, and what happens without it.

You did say 'the group called sedevacantists are now the mystical body'.

I have not heard a sede claric say this, quite the opposite.

David F Jones's avatar

Thanks for catching that, true Catholics are the members of the body, Christ is the head...

Should we have charity for Free Mason sodomites and demons?

RosaryKnight's avatar

Not demons, but humans who are our enemies Jesus commanded us to love. But we can love them, which is desiring the good for them, especially conversion, while also desiring the end of their temporal existence.

"St. Augustine says that if Our Lord had remained visibly on earth, the Apostles and disciples would have found His sacred humanity an obstacle to advancement in Faith and Charity, precisely because their love for Him was too human and imperfect."

That's interesting and potentially very profound. Can this be connected to John 20:17, where risen Jesus says to Mary Magdalene "Touch me not, for I have not yet ascended to my Father:" ?

Excellent reminder to give the benefit of the doubt that our adversaries *may* be acting out of a good will, albeit possibly in ignorance.

When Bishop Strickland was removed from office ,the nuncio told him he spoke to much about the deposit of faith we "We don't believe in that anymore"! Well if rome doesn't believe in the deposit of faith whey aren't catholic. That's intolerable.
