In a 2023 address, Prevost—now Leo XIV—adopted Bernardin's 'seamless garment' ideology, declaring that opposing abortion necessarily entails opposing capital punishment.
I'm not sure what you mean. Are you saying that the Pope is so firmly entrenched in Vatican II ideology that he would be unwilling to look at your argument?
Well yes that too. But rather, that such efforts have been made for sixty years, without fruit. What is it called to keep doing the same thing with no effect?
I just read a transcript of a speech Leo XIV recently gave to the Centissimus Annus Foundation on the theme of “rebuilding global governance (!),” in which he says:
“…the deepest purpose of the Church’s social doctrine as a contribution to peace and dialogue in the service of building bridges of universal fraternity.”
Obviously, the purpose of the Church’s social doctrine is not to achieve universal governance and fraternity, but to orient the temporal order toward facilitating our supernatural end.
But by striving to subvert and reorient the Church’s social doctrine toward a natural, rather than a supernatural end, he is effectively preparing an earthly kingdom for the advent of the natural messiah (ie., Antichrist).
This conviction is based upon nothing greater than sentimentality. Shallow thinking never goes anywhere useful. Jesus neither objected to nor opposed capital punishment even though He was clearly an innocent victim of it. His posture seemed always to be that even among those He loved dearly, His closest friends and associates, there was far worse at risk for them than the mere loss of their lives. He did not even spare the life of the "Good Thief". Instead He took him to Heaven with Him once His death occurred. I believe He is making me that same offer.
Perhaps a concise summary of this in a letter to Pope Leo with lots of signatures.......?
Unfortunately such ideas are about 60 years too late.

Well it's not the same Pope....
So there's no hope?
