Humanae Vitae is responsible for permitting mortal sin to enter unto many Catholic marriages. The language it was framed in perverted the primary and secondary purpose off marriage swapping one with the other. The result ever since has been the breakdown of catholic marriage matching that of the secular world. Even couples who were reluctant to use artificial contraception brought the new definition of marriage to bear in their use of NFP with the resulting drop in the average family size matching that in non-catholic families. It seems to be the case that everything touched by vat2 ends in disaster.

And, that was by design. Now, we have LGBTQ ministries in nearly every diocese/archdiocese. That's an unbroken chain.

Yes indeed. To here certain commentators on Catholic media suggesting that the Vatican are making or made a mistake in adopting such n such a policy, permitting such n such change, makes me wonder what planet they're living on. Should it not be clear by now that these things were no mistake at all but rather the hoped for dreaded outcome was the actual intention. Same applies in politics.

Although the focus of this article is Paul VI and HV, a little back story on why he created the commission in the first place and under what influence would be intriguing, as well as perhaps a postscript on the extension of this marital redefinition under JPII.

Boy, did I suffer because of that perverted document! I followed traditional Catholic teaching on contraception as a convert. The results sometimes were terrifying. I got screamed at by other "Catholic" women in the street for having too many children and for NOT using birth contro,l or literally patted on the head by a patronizing priest who called me, "little mama" as if I hadn't a brain in my head.
