To here certain commentators on Catholic media suggesting that the Vatican are making or made a mistake in adopting such n such a policy, permitting such n such change, makes me wonder what planet they're living on. Should it not be clear by now that these things were no mistake at all but rather the hoped for dreaded outcome was the actual intention. Same applies in politics.
Although the focus of this article is Paul VI and HV, a little back story on why he created the commission in the first place and under what influence would be intriguing, as well as perhaps a postscript on the extension of this marital redefinition under JPII.

I got screamed at by other "Catholic" women in the street for having too many children and for NOT using birth contro,l or literally patted on the head by a patronizing priest who called me, "little mama" as if I hadn't a brain in my head.
